Job Title: Personal Care Services (PCS) AideLocation: Rochester, NYJob Type: Full-Time / Part-TimeReports To: Registered Nurse (RN) / Director of Patient Services (DPS) About the RolePriority Cares Home Services LLC is seeking compassionate and dependable Personal Care Services (PCS) Aides to provide essential in-home care to clients. In this role, you will support individuals with daily living activities, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and overall well-being in a safe and comfortable environment. Key Responsibilities Personal Care Assist clients with bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene Support with dressing, toileting, and incontinence care Aid with mobility, transfers, and ambulation Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs Assist clients with feeding when necessary Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment Companionship Provide emotional support and companionship Engage clients in conversation and recreational activities to promote mental well-being Safety & Monitoring Observe and report any changes in client condition to the supervising RN Identify and address potential safety hazards in the home Compliance & Documentation Accurately document services provided in a timely manner Follow infection control procedures and adhere to company policies and NYS DOH guidelines Qualifications Certification: Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification or equivalent training (preferred) Experience: Prior home care or personal care experience is a plus, but not required Core Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient, and dependable Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Basic understanding of infection control practices Physical Requirements Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients as needed Capable of standing, walking, bending, and stretching for extended periods Additional Requirements Must complete annual physical and TB test per NYS regulations CPR certification (preferred) Valid drivers license and reliable transportation (preferred)
