Senior DeltaV Automation Engineer - Life science

Seeking a Senior Automation Engineer with 7-10 years of experience in DCS u2013 DeltaV. Must have worked in Life Sciences industry and have batch related experience. Should be able to develop detailed design for change functionality described in CAPA and Change Controls and implement the required change through its configuration, testing, validation, and deployment cycle along with required documentation activities. Experience of PLCs and/or SCADA would be added advantage. u2022 Programming of various DeltaV Control Systems, PLCs and HMIs in accordance with process requirements u2022 Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, documentation, presentation, and computer skills. Works in a team-based environment and exchanges technical information with management, technical support personnel, and equipment vendors. u2022 Execute IQ, OQ for Control Systems Development and Enhancements u2022 Develop system validation documentation and ensure system validation compliance. u2022 Create and manage application-specific knowledge management. u2022 Design, program, and configure DeltaV systems, PLCs, SCADA and related software. u2022 Understand Control System Integration requirements and participate in Requirements workshops. u2022 Provide technical support to customers, engineers, and other stakeholders. u2022 Develop technical documents, including design specification, user manuals, and operational procedures. u2022 Develop and implement automation strategies on DeltaV platform. u2022 Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade existing control systems as needed. u2022 Participate in project management and project coordination. u2022 Monitor and analyze system performance. u2022 Ensure regulatory compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards. u2022 Utilize best practices, standards and procedures related to automation systems. u2022 Maintain and update knowledge of evolving automation technologies.
