CNC Machinist- 1st shift

Job DescriptionAerobraze Engineered Technologies, a division of Wall Colmonoy manufactures turbine engine components like turbine nozzles, turbine vanes, complete turbine engines (both manufacturing and repair), diffusers, honeycomb seals and segments, heat shields, and parts for various turbomachinery.Our 90,000-square foot facility located in Cincinnati, Ohio houses a dedicated team of 50+ highly skilled professionals and constantly expands its production capabilities. Our products are globally shipped to customers far and wide.As our, Machinist you'll have the opportunity to help shape the future of our company and make a lasting impact on our success.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC lathes with minimal supervision (Femco, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, manual, VTL)Perform tool changes, offsets, and minor edits directly at the machineTroubleshoot machining issues, make decisions independently, and maintain part qualityPerform 100%-dimensional inspection using tools such as:MicrometersHeight standsCalipersBore micsDial indicatorsRead and interpret complex aerospace blueprints and part drawingsEnsure parts are produced to tight tolerances and customer requirementsSupport and mentor other team members when neededMeet daily and weekly production targets without sacrificing qualityMaintain a clean and organized work environmentRequired QualificationsHigh School degree or equivalent is requiredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Minimum 5 years CNC lathe experienceProficient with setups, tooling, and on-machine edits without step-by-step instructionStrong inspection skills with manual measuring toolsDemonstrated ability to independently diagnose and resolve machining issuesStrong communication and leadership skills; able to assist and guide othersPreferred (Not Required) SkillsBackground in aerospace is a plus.Machinist certification (e.g., NIMS or equivalent)CNC programming experience (G-code, conversational, or CAM-based)CNC milling machine experience (Doosan, Haas, Makino)Wire EDM knowledge or experience (Makino)If you are driven with a passion for aerospace and defense manufacturing, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Apply NowApply NowWe offer competitive salary and an excellent benefit package that includes medical, vision, dental, life, AD&D, and 401k match.
