JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Restorative Justice Intake and CommunityCoordinator is responsible for coordinating intake services for youthages 12-17 receiving municipal tickets and referring to restorativejustice programming at our partner agencies. This role will also workclosely with the Restorative Justice Community Program team to plan andfacilitate restorative justice circles and case management with youthwho qualify for municipal tickets or have been referred by our communitypartners. This work involves regular collaboration with our communityprogram partners like Madison Police Department, Madison MunicipalCourt, Dane County Department of Human Services, Police Departments andCourts at other Dane County Municipalities, and our different communitysites. This position requires mainly afternoon/evening hours and somework on weekends and includes frequent travel to community sites as wellas some home visits. In addition, the person in this position will beresponsible for working with adult volunteers. OTHEREXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Associate's degree in the socialsciences, human services, social justice or related field, orcommensurate experience: either 2+ years' experience providing youthservices or 2+ years working in the field of Restorative Justice inaddition to required experience below. 1 year related experience.
