The CAD designer creates precise and manufacturable design documentation by translating customer specifications into accurate CAD models and drawings. Applies a solid foundation in CAD principles and design practices while mentoring junior team members. Responsibilities u2022 Interpret site survey documents u2022 Assist and mentor newer team members with redlines and comprehension of customer specifications u2022 Create production drawings and detailed assemblies u2022 Maintain drawing accuracy, clarity, and compliance with standards u2022 Collaborate effectively across departments Required Skills Qualifications Items listed are required unless u201cpreferredu201d is indicated u2022 High School Diploma; CAD certificate or degree preferred u2022 1u20133 years relevant experience u2022 Strong geometric aptitude and software proficiency u2022 Required: AutoCAD, Excel, Word u2022 Preferred: BIM tools and 3D CAD platforms such as Inventor or Revit Required Experience
