Facets Test Engineer Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time Job ID: 00068642355 Job Title: Facets Test Engineer u2013 Healthcare Payer About the role As a Facets Test Engineer, you will make an impact by executing and validating testing activities across healthcare payer systems, with a strong focus on Facets functionality, claims processing, and integrations. You will play a critical role in ensuring quality across core business workflows, data migrations, and endu2011tou2011end claims validation. You will be a valued member of the quality engineering team, working closely with QA leads, developers, business analysts, and integration partners. This is a remote position, open to qualified applicants. In this role, you will: + Analyze business requirements, configuration documents, and design specifications to create Facetsu2011specific test scenarios and detailed test cases + Execute functional testing across key Facets modules, including Membership, Claims, Billing, Provider, and Product Configuration + Validate endu2011tou2011end claims processing, including pricing, edits, accumulators, adjudication rules, and benefit logic + Perform integration testing across Facets, downstream systems, and data warehouse platforms + Execute and validate EDI transactions, including 834 (Enrollment), 837 (Claims), and 835 (Payments) + Support data migration and reconciliation testing for membership, provider, and claims data to ensure accuracy and completeness + Validate data integrity across inbound and outbound interfaces and batch processing jobs + Log, track, and manage defects using ALM or Jira, ensuring proper traceability, prioritization, retesting, and closure + Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles, supporting business users with test execution and issue resolution + Collaborate with QA leads, developers, business analysts, and integration teams to resolve defects and clarify requirements + Ensure testing activities align with healthcare business rules, payer policies, and regulatory requirements Work model We strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. What you need to have to be considered + 6u20138 years of overall testing experience, with 2u20134+ years of handsu2011on Facets testing + Healthcare payer domain experience + Strong understanding of claims processing and endu2011tou2011end healthcare workflows + Experience executing functional, integration, and UAT testing + Handsu2011on experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as ALM or Jira These will help you stand out + Experience supporting test automation, test data management, or cloud migration initiatives + Familiarity with batch processing and data validation in Facets environments + Strong analytical skills and attention to detail + Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively in crossu2011functional teams Salary and Other Compensation: Applicants will be accepted till 5/25/2026 Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. _Please note, this role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future_ The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $93K-$109K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizantu2019s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizantu2019s applicable plans.
