Machine Operator 5x8 hour days +OT as needed Train on 1st shift move to 2nd shift $19.00/hour to start Job Description 2nd shift Operator- Operate the winding/unwinding machine to reroll material to desired lengths for customers. The role involves loading rolls, setting measurements, starting the process, inspecting for quality, and preparing products for shipping. Training begins on the first shift, transitioning to the second shift after one week. Responsibilities + Operate the machinery to make new rolls + Load rolls into the machine and set measurements. + Inspect product for quality, ensuring no damage or defects. + Wrap and prepare finished products for shipping. + Track work orders and maintain organization. + Material Handling forklift experience. Essential Skills + Machine operation and inspection. + Ability to lift 40 lbs throughout the shift. + Basic math skills and attention to detail. + Proficiency with tape measures and slitter machines. + Mechanically inclined with experience operating forklifts. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong attention to detail and quality assurance. + Safety-oriented mindset. + Experience with paperwork and organizing tasks. Why Work Here? The facility is not climate-controlled, but fans and fatigue mats are provided for comfort. Dress code requires warehouse professional attire, with closed-toed boots mandatory.
