Manufacturing Engineer Job Description This position applies engineering principles and techniques to establish, maintain, and continuously improve stamping manufacturing processes, fully supporting the Manufacturing Engineering team to improve workflow, increase efficiency, and reduce costs. This role offers an excellent opportunity to engage with the engineering team and potentially transition to production once the plant is in full operation. Responsibilities + Act as a liaison between Quality and Production teams. + Analyze CMM Data to improve processes. + Involve in budgeting and purchasing of tooling, parts, and PPE. + Ensure teams have necessary resources for project completion. + Work on simple designs for layout justification of equipment positioning. + Apply engineering principles to improve stamping manufacturing processes. + Support the Manufacturing Engineering team in improving workflow and efficiency. + Bridge the gap between production, engineering, maintenance, quality, and management. Essential Skills + a Degree in Drafting & Design, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. + Proven problem-solving ability. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in manufacturing engineering or related field. + Demonstrated ability to accomplish tasks and objectives. + Microsoft Office Knowledge. + Working knowledge of CAD drafting. + Excellent communication skills. + Project management experience. + SolidWorks, CAD software knowledge. + Lean manufacturing and process improvement skills. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Stanton, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
