Hvac Service Technician

HVAC Service Technician Overview We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to perform commercial service, maintenance, and repairs across a territory spanning Manhattan to the Hamptons. This is a field-based, independent role supporting retail, industrial, and other commercial facilities, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality workmanship, and professional customer service. Key Responsibilities + Perform commercial HVAC service and preventive maintenance at customer sites + Troubleshoot and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems + Service and maintain rooftop units, boilers, and chillers + Conduct brazing, pipe welding, and mechanical repairs + Read blueprints and technical documentation to diagnose issues + Work independently while managing routes, calls, and documentation + Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to customers + Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (approximately once per month) + Safely operate and maintain a company-provided take-home service van Required Qualifications + 7+ years of commercial HVAC service experience + Strong troubleshooting skills across HVAC and refrigeration systems + Experience with RTUs, boilers, and chillers + Proficiency in brazing and pipe welding + Ability to read blueprints and schematics + Current F60 and G60 certifications + Valid driveru2019s license and clean MVR + Own basic HVAC tools + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications + OSHA 30 certification + Experience covering large urban and suburban service territories Why Join Us Youu2019ll join a growing mechanical company offering long-term stability, career growth, and a strong benefits package upon permanent hire, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
