Structural Engineer

An Architecture, Engineering, and Construction firm located in the suburbs of Chicago is looking to add a Structural Engineer to their team Job Description: + Perform structural engineering design and analysis for identified systems under the close supervision of a senior engineer + Participate in project related meetings to coordinate activities and communicate designs + Assist with preparation of engineering deliverables + Participate in field surveys, condition assessments and site investigations + Perform construction administration related tasks including submittal review, responding to RFIu2019s and observation of construction related activities Qualifications: + MS Degree in Structural Engineering required + 2+ years of experience + Building design experience required + Revit, RAM Structural System, and SAP2000 experience is a plus + Strong communication/presentation skills Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Darien, IL.
