Electrical Design Engineer u2013 Power & Magnetics (Entry-Level / Early Career) Southeastern Wisconsin Onsite Build It. Test It. Learn It. Own It. What Youu2019ll Do: + Support the design of magnetic components (transformers, inductors, chokes) used in power conversion systems + Assist with translating requirements into practical, manufacturable designs + Build and test prototypes in a lab environment + Work alongside senior engineers on design validation and troubleshooting + Support manufacturing with product releases and production issues + Help troubleshoot field and production problems + Learn core magnetics principles through hands-on work + Contribute to continuous improvement in design and testing processes What You Bring: + Background in Electrical Engineering or related field (degree helpful, not required) + Exposure to one or more of the following: + Power electronics + Switch Mode Power Supplies (SMPS) + Circuit design or hardware development + Interest in hands-on engineering (lab work, testing, building) + Basic understanding of electrical fundamentals: + Circuits, power, signals + Willingness to learn magnetics design (transformers, inductors) + Ability to take direction and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment Important to Know: + This is not a pure desk or simulation role + You will spend time in the lab and working with hardware + You will be expected to learn quickly and take on more responsibility over time + You will be working alongside experienced engineers who will help develop your skills What Will Set You Apart: + Hands-on project work (school, internship, personal builds) + Experience with lab equipment and testing + Exposure to power electronics or hardware design + Curiosity and willingness to ask questions and learn Who Thrives Here: + Engineers who want to learn by doing + People who prefer hands-on work over theory-only roles + Individuals who want broad exposure, not narrow specialization early on + Practical problem-solvers Why Make the Move: + Learn magnetics from experienced engineers + Work on real productsu2014not just simulations + Gain exposure across design, testing, and manufacturing + Build skills faster in a smaller, hands-on team + See the impact of your work Compensation & Location: + Base salary: $70,000 u2013 $100,000 (depending on experience) + Bonus potential included + Location: Milwaukee, WI (north suburbs u2013 Ozaukee County) + Onsite role + Relocation support may be available Apply now to be considered.
