Job Description The Manufacturing Engineer will play a critical role in supporting the T1u20132 vehicle launch within General Assembly at the Fort Wayne Assembly Plant. This position is responsible for ensuring manufacturing readiness, validating new processes and equipment, and driving seamless integration of launch content into a highu2011volume production environment. The ideal candidate brings deep automotive experience, industrial engineering capability, and a proven track record supporting major vehicle launches from concept through acceptance. Demonstrated experience supporting vehicle launches, including validation, integration, commissioning, and acceptance of new equipment and processes. Solid industrial engineering foundation, including line balancing, time studies, and process optimization. Strong working knowledge of GD&T and its application in manufacturing and assembly environments. Ability to lead crossu2011functional teams and drive issue resolution in fastu2011paced launch environments. Proficiency in PLC logic (troubleshooting, understanding ladder logic, supporting controls integration).
