PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. As an Associate Media Operations Specialist, you will perform a variety of media operations tasks in support of NBC Sports, Bay Area. These tasks will encompass Media Ingest, Records, Live Streaming, Quality Control, and Media Asset Management as well as basic support functions for the Newsroom Content System. Responsibilities: + Record / Ingest Content into servers + Quality control video and audio signals for live productions + Monitor and fulfill media ingest requests + Monitor/manage media asset management system + Route audio and video signals in preparation for all live productions + Troubleshoot transmission issues during live production in a timely manner + Perform other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications + Minimum of one (1+) yearu00a0of experience working in multi-media, video, sound-music, television production environment & projects + Fundamental understanding of Audio/Video signal flow + Working knowledge of video/audio file formats; basic video editing a plus Desired Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s degree preferred, or equivalent years of relevant experience + Robust interpersonal skills for a diverse and energetic newsroom + Self-starter, capable of managing tasks efficiently, able to self-manage with a vested attitude + A cool, level-headed individual who works well under the pressures of u201cliveu201d television + Basic time management skills working under tight deadlines + Excellent communication skills, verbal, and messaging + Ability to make sound technical decisions under pressure + Strongu00a0attention to detail Additional Requirements + Interested candidate must submit a resume/CV throughu00a0be considered + Must be willing to work onsite in Bay Area + Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States + Ability to work a flexible work schedule (e.g. late afternoonsu00a0and weekends) + Must be 18 years or older Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
