Job Title: QA/QC SpecialistJob Description We are seeking a QA/QC Specialist to support ongoing work on a significant project. This role involves a substantial amount of testing for large systems and requires QA/QC sign-off for various tasks. As a QA/QC Specialist, you will ensure that mechanical, process piping, and structural fabrications comply with ASME/AWS codes, project specifications, and quality standards. This position is project-based with the potential to become a long-term opportunity. Responsibilities + Manage site-specific quality plans. + Perform inspections and audits. + Control documentation processes. + Supervise subcontractor quality. + Focus on achieving zero injuries and high-quality outcomes. Essential Skills + QA/QC experience in the mechanical construction industry. + CWI or Level 2 certification. + Proficient in reading and comprehending logs and P&ID. + Understanding of pressure testing. + Knowledge of different welding processes. + Familiarity with piping and component material standards, including certification documentation in high purity piping systems. + Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer programs such as Word, Excel, Bluebeam, ACC Build, and Navisworks. + 5+ years of experience in a QA/QC role within the construction industry. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Semiconductor/data center experience. + Experience in pharmaceutical and construction management. + Safety training. + Current eye test certification. + Experience using smart completions. Work Environment This position is located onsite at a Micron project in Boise, ID. The current schedule is Monday through Saturday, with 10-hour days starting at 6 am. This is a project-based role without a physical office in Boise, and it includes a per diem allowance. The work environment is autonomous, offering opportunities for growth within a winning team. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boise, ID. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
