Estimator

Suncoast Post Tension, Ltd., a Keller company, is an established post-tension and rebar manufacturing company that has been in business for over 30 years. We supply construction related materials to builders from one of our nine facilities in the US. We are looking for a dedicated and dependable entry-level Estimator to join our team in Leander, TX. The ideal candidate must have at least 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or an Associates or Bachelors Degree in an Engineering or Construction related discipline. Candidate must be well organized, self-motivated, reliable, detail oriented, and possess excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills.You will be required to use company software to estimate the design of projectsAt times you will engage a particular need, and with the assistance of our staff, devise an appropriate solutionAdditional tasks include budget estimates, reviewing drawings, and evaluating and compiling informationProficient computer skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong math and multitasking skillsPlan reading, comprehension and take-off familiaritySound technical knowledgeExperience with materials estimatingCommercial instinctsAttention to detailGet-it-done attitudeAbility to meet fast paced and dynamic schedules and deadlinesPhysical Requirements:Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50-75 poundsFrequently required to sit or stand for long periods of time and walk distances, as well as stoop, bend, kneel and crouchSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hearFrequently required to use hands and fingers to handle, reach or feel and manipulate objects or controlsMust be able to work in fumes and odors (non-hazardous)Must be able to work in loud areas and wear hearing protectionMust be able to work with oils, grease and dust, with limited personal protection (aprons, gloves, etc.)Salary Range: $23.00 - $25.00/hr DOEActual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by lawBenefits:401(k) + matchingHealth, Dental, Vision insuranceLife insurancePaid time off (PTO)Holiday PaySuncoast Post-Tensionis an Equal Opportunity Employer.
