Job Title: Maintenance Technician Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing equipment such as mills, lathes, high horse-power motors, electrical systems, and electric-driven filter systems within a manufacturing facility. This position offers the opportunity to transition from a contract role to a full-time position based on your performance and department goals. Responsibilities + Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment. + Troubleshoot and repair electrical and pneumatic systems. + Work with blueprint reading, mechanical assembly, and schematic interpretation. + Utilize hand and power tools for maintenance tasks. + Engage in the repair and maintenance of pneumatics, hydraulics, and control systems. Essential Skills + Proficient in blueprint reading and mechanical assembly. + Experience with power tools and schematic interpretation. + Industrial manufacturing. + Basic knowledge of mills or lathes. + Expertise in electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting, control systems, and hydraulics. Work Environment The position is based in a climate-controlled machine shop where employees are regularly required to stand, use their hands, and communicate effectively. Occasionally, walking is required, and employees must frequently lift or move objects up to 25-50 pounds, using a hoist or crane for heavier items Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of White Settlement, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
