Our integrated approach spans power generation, battery energy storage, renewables, transmission, substation, and underground infrastructure — from concept to commissioning, we execute complex power infrastructure projects with the speed, certainty, and operational excellence our customers depend on.At Quanta Power Solutions, we are driven by a culture of safety, integrity, and disciplined execution — and we're building a team that shares that commitment.Location: 3500 Colonnade Pkwy Suite 550, Birmingham, AL 35243Position: Sr. Electrical Engineer - EPC ProjectsWe are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with experience in 13.8 kV and 34.5 kV systems and a Professional Engineer (PE) license desired to join our EPC team supporting power generation, renewables, battery energy storage (BESS), data centers, substations, and transmission projects.Develop conceptual layouts, preliminary designs, and cost studies for electrical systems.Perform voltage drop, load flow, fault current, arc flash, conduit/tray fill, and protective device coordination calculations.Size substations, motor control centers (MCCs), and other electrical equipment.Review vendor drawings and support interdisciplinary design integration.Support procurement documentation, construction packages, and field verification/commissioning.Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.Work on projects involving turbine generation, including wind, gas, steam, and other types of turbines, covering design, integration, and operational considerations.Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering.
