We are seeking a BiomedicalTechnician I(BMET I) to join ourteam.TheBiomedicalTechnician I (BMET I) position is an entry level role with primary responsibilities for general patient careequipment service and maintenance performance. And, we believe equipping you with support and development opportunities is a vital part of delivering an exceptional employment experience.Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health.Perform preventative maintenance, electrical safety inspections, and equipment verification.Install, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate biomedical equipment, PCs, and medical networks.Assistsenior BMETs with advanced equipment repairs and troubleshooting.Maintainaccurateservice records in the CMMS database and ensure regulatory compliance.Communicate with clinical staffregardingequipment status and provide user education.Coordinate with vendors and service technicians to ensure proper service delivery.Participate in ongoing training and adhere to on‑call rotation and travel requirements.Education: Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or other Technology/IT related program; military Biomedical Engineering Technician course graduate required. Experience: Three (3) months experience working with Biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment preferred. License(s)/Certification(s): Valid driver’s license (DRLC1IA, DRLC1IL, DRLC1WI) required. AUTOINS required for driving a personal vehicle.
