Description: You will be the RCS Model Design Engineer for the team which is responsible for designing and integrating Low Observable (LO) components and test articles, including fullu2011scale models. What You Will Be Doing As the RCS Model Design Engineer you will be responsible for delivering engineering documentation, CAD drawings, and supporting integration and testing efforts across multiple disciplines. u201cYour responsibilities will include:u201d + Assist the team in the design, development, and testing of RCS materials, components, and fullu2011scale models for program objectives and RF testing. + Use CATIA to develop and revise drawings, models, assemblies, and installation engineering CAD files. + Support team members with design and manufacturing knowledge and experience. + Complete design modifications to improve product quality or facilitate manufacturing operations. + Plan integration efforts for components and test articles. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Manufacturing/RF Engineering or related field with 5+ years of related professional experience; or Masteru2019s degree in Engineering or related field with 3+ years of related professional experience u2022 Project management or leadership experience u2022 Willingness and ability to travel frequently (50+ days per year) to manufacturing and test facility in California u2022 Strong communication, organizational, planning, and time management skills u2022 Experience with a CAD software Desired Skills: u2022 Experience with different manufacturing methods, composites, and 3D printing u2022 Aircraft production support, processes, and coating experience u2022 Creative problem solving skills u2022 Experience with integrating materials, components, and/or technologies onto air vehicle platforms u2022 Experience with using CATIA or similar CAD software for part design, assembly, and drawing experience u2022 Experience with coatings, integration, application, standards, methods, and testing u2022 Experience with RF or LO range testing u2022 Experience with RF / LO materials and RF / LO material testing, measurements, and integration onto physical platforms u2022 Experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) u2022 Experience managing projects including gathering technical requirements, generating estimates/proposals, and executing to schedules/budgets Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
