The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying potential issues, resolving mechanical problems, and ensuring all equipment is operating efficiently to minimize downtime.This position is supporting our Elgen facility in Closter, NJ. The opening is on 3rd shift Monday to Friday 10pm to 6:30am.Pay: $30 - $38 per hour +$2 for shift differentialDuties and responsibilitiesSafety Compliance: Adhere to all safety standards and procedures while performing maintenance tasks. Ensure a clean and organized workspace.Routine Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as lubricating, cleaning, and adjusting machinery to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.Troubleshooting ,Repairs: Quickly diagnose and repair mechanical issues with machines, equipment, and systems in a timely manner to minimize production downtime.Equipment Installation: Assist with the installation of new equipment and machinery, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.Parts ,Inventory Management: Maintain and manage inventory of mechanical parts and tools, ensuring availability for repairs and replacements.Documentation ,Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections, and provide regular reports to management.Collaboration: Work with production and engineering teams to identify areas for improvement in machinery and processes, providing feedback for continuous improvement.Emergency Support: Respond to emergency maintenance calls during off-hours as needed to resolve critical issues
