Simulation Engineer

Job Description Insight global is looking for a Material Flow Simulation Engineer in the Warren, Michigan area. The Engineer is expected to execute Material Flow Analysis and Simulation (MFS) tasks with minimal supervision from a lead while also providing guidance to less experienced team members. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of MFS. Other Responsibilities Include: u2022u2003Support new vehicle programs throughout the program u2022u2003Conduct custom studies to assist new vehicle programs, execution teams, and manufacturing plants while providing guidance to others. u2022u2003Troubleshoot and debug throughput simulation models, offering training to others in the process. u2022u2003Convert simulation models between CDraw2 and Plant Simulation software. u2022u2003Create new MFS models. u2022u2003Combine MFS and TAS models. u2022u2003Travel to plant sites, as necessary. u2022u2003Gather and organize all necessary inputs for conducting a Material Flow simulation including internal systems, PFEP, existing Throughput Simulation model and existing Material flow simulation model and offer guidance to others in the process. u2022u2003Analyze MFS results and provide insights and suggestions for improvement. u2022u2003Document and share lessons learned to enhance team performance. Compensation: $55/hr to $60/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
