How Youu2019ll Contribute As a Physical Therapist, youu2019ll contribute to our success in the following ways: + Promotes Elara Caringu2019s philosophy, mission statement and administrative policies to ensure quality of care + Provides direct patient care , evaluates functional needs and outcomes, and consults with other specialists. Reviews patientsu2019 functional needs and adjusts care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes. + Designs and implements a plan of care for patients based on a thorough assessment of potential development and incorporates participation by significant others whenever it seems appropriate. + Conducts therapy practice within defined standards of care. + Directs the assistance of support staff to achieve patientsu2019 functional goals. + Documents evaluations, treatment goals, and plans. Regularly updates documentation and maintains prescriptions and signatures. + Provides direction and leadership to staff and acts as a resource to promote physical therapy in the community + Physically demanding, high stress environment + Full range of body motion including handling, lifting and transfer of patients + Potentially work irregular hours including call hours if applicable ? What is Required? + Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program + Current, unrestricted PT license in the state of practice + Minimum one ( 1) year of experience in a healthcare setting + Able and willing to travel throughout the coverage area + Must have a dependable vehicle , valid driveru2019s license , and current auto insurance in accordance with state laws. + Must be able and willing to travel 50% + Able to sit, stand, bend, lift and move intermittently and be able to lift 50-100 lbs . ?
