School-Based Physical Therapist (PT) u2013 ESY Program Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a qualified and motivated School-Based Physical Therapist to support students during a 5-week Extended School Year (ESY) program in Boston, MA . This is an excellent opportunity for a PT who is passionate about pediatric care and collaborating within a school-based, multidisciplinary environment. Position Details + Location: Boston, MA + Program Dates: July 6, 2026 u2013 August 7, 2026 + Schedule: Mondayu2013Friday, 30 hours per week + Pay Rate: $50/hour , based on experience and licensure Position Overview The Physical Therapist will provide both direct therapy and consultative services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans . Services are delivered in the least restrictive environment , supporting student access, mobility, participation, and safety throughout the school day. Key Responsibilities + Deliver physical therapy services tailored to the individual needs of each student + Ensure services align with IEP and 504 Plan goals and compliance standards + Provide services in the least restrictive setting possible + Participate in pre-referral meetings, Team Meetings, and Student Support Team activities + Collaborate closely with teachers, other related service providers, and school staff + Consult with parents and caregivers to support carryover of therapeutic strategies + Provide professional development or guidance to school-based staff as requested Requirements + Active Physical Therapy license + School-based or pediatric experience preferred + Strong collaboration and communication skills + Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team + Knowledge of special education processes and service delivery models This is a rewarding opportunity for a Physical Therapist looking to make a meaningful impact during summer programming while working in a supportive educational setting.
