Data Operations Analyst

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Data Operations Analyst to support a major utility clientu2019s Hydroelectric Generation team. This role is a technical hybrid designed to bridge the gap between complex engineering workflows and actionable data solutions. You will be responsible for the maintenance, optimization, and integration of a diverse ecosystem of data systems used to monitor the health and performance of critical civil and linear assets, such as generators, canals, and tunnels. The successful candidate will possess the technical expertise to manage database architecture and the professional communication skills to collaborate directly with Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical engineers to translate operational needs into automated, high-impact data products. Core Responsibilities Systems Management & Data Integrity: Provide expert-level maintenance for the existing technical ecosystem, including Palantir Foundry, SAP, and Iris. Ensure seamless data availability and accuracy across these disparate platforms. Database Administration: Administer and optimize SQL Servers to ensure reliable data extractions and high-performance querying. You will lead the sifting, cleaning, and validation of data to ensure all outputs are audit-ready. Data Pipeline Engineering: Architect and manage automated data pipelines to unify disjointed sources, including internal databases, external applications, and manual data extracts.
