Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Scottsdale, Arizona. This long-term contract position offers a hybrid work schedule, combining both in-office and remote days after initial training. The ideal candidate will excel in managing collections, reconciliations, and cash applications while contributing to the overall efficiency of our accounts receivable processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage commercial collections for retail customers, ensuring timely payments and resolving outstanding balances. u2022 Apply cash receipts accurately and reconcile accounts to maintain financial integrity. u2022 Handle contracts, deductions, and billing activities with precision and attention to detail. u2022 Utilize Excel and other tools to perform reconciliations and generate reports. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and improve accounts receivable workflows. u2022 Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial transactions. u2022 Assist with billing tasks as needed, ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing. u2022 Leverage prior experience with accounts receivable systems, such as NetSuite, to enhance operational efficiency. u2022 Provide exceptional customer service while addressing payment-related inquiries. u2022 Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable activities. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts receivable processes, including collections and reconciliations. u2022 Proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and reporting. u2022 Familiarity with accounts receivable software such as NetSuite is preferred. u2022 Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex financial data accurately. u2022 Excellent communication skills for interacting with retail customers and internal teams. u2022 Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment. u2022 Prior experience in cash applications and billing functions is highly desirable. u2022 Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
