This is a dual role that offers advanced EKG monitoring for patients in need of cardiovascular monitoring through evaluation of arrhythmia interpretation, along with assisting nursing staff as a Certified Nurse Assistant.What you will doCollect and report patient information and dataMonitor the cardiac rhythms of patientsHelp patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, diet, fluid intake, skin care, bathing and dressing, positioning, transfers, mobility and ambulationPatient TransportCollection of specimensDistribution of linens and supplies to patient roomsAs assigned, stays with at-risk patients to monitor patient safetyMinimum QualificationsEducation: High School GraduateExperience: 1-3 years of previous job experience as a CNA, phlebotomy, and EKG performance. Cardiac Dysrhythmia knowledge is also preferred.Certified Nursing Assistant: CNA certification, preferred, Medical Assistant (MA) certification will be considered in lieu of CNA.Telemetry (EKG) Certification: Certification or successful completion of the cardiac monitoring course is required.
