Registered Nurse(RN)/Cath Lab **sign on bonus eligible

Registered Nurse (RN) FT/7a-5:30p/80 hours a pay + on call within 30 mins Cath Lab Miami Valley Hospital The clinical nurse (CN) functions in a multi-faceted role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence in the practice of Nursing. The CN is responsible for maintaining high standards for a caseload of patients as described by the scope of care for the area of practice and demonstrates appropriate actions based on sound scientific research and evidence-based principles. The CN also coordinates/directs care delivered by the interdisciplinary team. The CN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. The CN provides physical, emotional and spiritual support that directly/indirectly impacts the patient outcomes and care provided to patients/ families/ significant others. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN preferred. Licensure: Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License Certification: Current AHA BLS required upon hire; ACLS required within 90 days. Experience: Min. 1 year of acute care hospital RN experience required; preferably in cardiac care. Skills/Other: none required
