Description New Jersey Foreclosure Paralegal Employer: Law Firm Location: Princeton, NJ or Cherry Hill, NJ (Either office) Schedule: Full Time (35 hrs/week) Hybrid (3in /2 out) Eligible After 90 Days Job Type: Direct Hire Permanent Compensation: $70-79K Our client, a long-established multi-office law firm, is hiring two experienced New Jersey Foreclosure Paralegals to support its busy Creditorsu2019 Rights and Residential Foreclosure practice. This is a direct-hire, permanent role based in either Princeton or Cherry Hill, with hybrid flexibility available after the first 90 days. This is a strong opportunity for a foreclosure paralegal with hands-on New Jersey experience who can do more than process templates. The firm is looking for someone who understands NJ foreclosure procedure, can draft original complaints, review title, manage contested foreclosure workflows, and keep a high-volume docket moving accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities u2022 Draft and file New Jersey residential foreclosure pleadings, including original foreclosure complaints u2022 Support contested foreclosure matters through key litigation milestones u2022 Review, analyze, and interpret title reports and title-related documents u2022 Identify title issues and coordinate corrections, resolutions, and follow-up u2022 Maintain accurate docketing, calendaring, and case tracking in a high-volume practice u2022 Manage foreclosure workflows in accordance with lender and mortgage servicer client requirements u2022 Work with attorneys, internal teams, lenders, servicers, vendors, and court personnel as needed u2022 Use servicer platforms and firm systems to track deadlines, filings, documents, and case status u2022 Assist with document management, filing preparation, and compliance with client-specific SLAs u2022 Support the foreclosure team across the Princeton and Cherry Hill offices Requirements Qualifications u2022 3+ years of dedicated New Jersey foreclosure paralegal experience in a law firm setting u2022 Strong knowledge of NJ foreclosure procedures, court filings, and foreclosure litigation workflow u2022 Proven ability to independently draft original foreclosure complaints and related pleadings u2022 Contested foreclosure experience strongly preferred u2022 Strong title review experience, including reading title reports, identifying issues, and helping resolve defects u2022 Experience with NJ court filing systems and foreclosure-related litigation deadlines u2022 Familiarity with LPS, Black Knight, Tempo, or similar servicer platforms preferred u2022 FirstLegal or vendor coordination experience a plus u2022 Strong organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to manage volume u2022 Comfortable working with attorneys, internal teams, and lender / servicer clients Technology u2022 LPS / Black Knight / Tempo preferred u2022 NJ court e-filing systems u2022 FirstLegal or similar vendor platforms a plus u2022 Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel u2022 Case management, docketing, document management, or foreclosure workflow systems Schedule / Benefits / Culture u2022 Direct-hire, permanent position u2022 Full-time, hourly non-exempt role u2022 Compensation up to $45/hour DOE u2022 Overtime eligible after 40 hours at time-and-a-half u2022 In-office initially, with hybrid eligibility after 90 days u2022 Hybrid schedule after 90 days: 3 days in office / up to 2 days WFH u2022 Medical benefits through Horizon BCBS, including EPO and Direct Access options u2022 Dental through Delta DPO and DHMO u2022 Vision through VSP via Horizon u2022 401(k), no employer match noted u2022 Discretionary annual bonus, typically paid in March following the calendar year and based on firm performance u2022 NJ statutory short-term disability and optional voluntary STD/LTD u2022 Annual performance review with potential discretionary increase u2022 Collegial, respectful office environment with work-life balance focus u2022 Firm social events, including holiday party, summer picnic, and monthly activities Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
