This department is responsible for maintaining and improving the City's public facilities and infrastructure. This role involves maintaining and repairing City buildings and facilities to ensure the safety and well-being of all occupants. What youu2019ll be doing: + Assist with HVAC system troubleshooting, repairs, and installation. + Perform technical trades work in the maintenance, repair, and construction of City buildings, facilities, and/or parks. + Conduct preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and planned projects as assigned. + Ensure all buildings, equipment, and systems comply with laws, codes, regulations, and standards. + Perform building inspections to identify potential issues and initiate corrective actions. + Read blueprints and design plans for maintenance and repair projects. + Operate various tools and equipment such as drills, saws, and painting tools. + Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are clean and functional for future use. + Ability and willingness to assist other trades as needed.
