Wepride ourselves on fostering an environment where we make a positive impact on others; upholding our beliefs in integrity, inclusion and belonging.Your Impact Starts the Day You Do!What We Need:We are looking for a Skilled Trades Team Lead to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings team in Muscatine, IA!Weekend Shift: Friday through Monday from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PMJOB DETAILSProvide daily leadership to skilled trades members through guidance from upper-levelLeaders in order to maximize facility performance in the areas of quality, productivity, and efficiency while maintaining a safe and positive work environment. Coordinates maintenance, repair, and upgrade of existing assets in addition to maintaining electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and related systems. Determines action plans to comply with internal/external customer demands for reliable processes/equipment to eliminate failures.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Lead day-to-day shop floor activitiesExecution of scheduled workResourcing and prioritization of emergency workEscalation of job overruns or interruptions to GLShift to shift communicationTactical decision to stay on scheduleRefine and finalize labor, parts, priorities, and municate with maintenance technicians, planners, operations, and engineering as frequent as possibleAdministrative functionsAssure reasonably accurate distribution of time and materials to specific jobWhat is expected?Safety - comply with safety, quality, and production requirements and procedures; meet the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.Environment - Dust, fumes and noise are common; while some facilities are climate controlled, seasonal fluctuations in temperatures and humidity are expectedExperience Needed:Minimum of five (5) years experience in providing and implementing solutions in equipment, process, and facility reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Development of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programsPrevious experience in leading teams to successful outcomesRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reportsApply problem solving techniques to evaluate and resolve conditions to maximize operating efficiencies.Must be able to perform the same work as other Skilled Trades members.Proficient in MS OfficeStrong communication and leadership skills required to ensure positive productivity.CNC programming software experienceRCI experience including 3P, Standard Work, and Standard Work Layout.Proficient in plc, software, panel view, and panel control software.Proficient in MP2 or CMMS softwareWhy HNI?Daily Pay - we offer a voluntary benefit to gain immediate access to a percentage of your next paycheck without having to wait until pay day!Benefits Day 1 - medical, dental, vision and 11 paid holidaysWe offer an inclusive workplace and culture where all Members are welcomed and valued…to see all that HNI has to offer, please visit pre-employment drug testingPass a 7-year criminal background checkHigh school diploma or GED is not requiredWe look forward to hearing from you!
