Become a member of the Johnson Controls family and thrive in an empowering company culture where your voice and ideas will be heard - your nextgreat opportunityis just a few clicks away!What we offerCompetitive salaryPaidvacation/holidays/sicktimeComprehensive benefits package including 401K, medical, dental, and vision careOn the job/cross training opportunitiesEncouraging and collaborative team environmentDedication to safety through our Zero Harm policyHow You Will Do ItServe as the primary on-site project leader, owning project execution from kickoff through closeout on HVAC and building automation scopes.Lead cost estimating, scheduling, and project management activities while maintaining strong financial performance and positive cash flow.Ensure projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget, while meeting contract scope and billing milestones.Manage the procurement lifecycle—material selection, ordering, and delivery coordination—to support construction schedules and field productivity.Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, contractors, and subcontractors through proactive communication and collaboration.Act as the main customer interface throughout the project lifecycle, gathering feedback and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.Drive a customer-first mindset, consistently exceeding expectations in quality, responsiveness, and professionalism.Provide clear and accurate project updates to management, including forecasting revenue, costs, and gross margin during project execution.Identify and pursue additional business opportunities through change orders by developing cost estimates, preparing proposals, and negotiating final agreements.Negotiate, prepare, and manage subcontracts, fostering productive working relationships with trade partners.Coordinate customer training, closeout documentation, and system manuals to ensure smooth project turnover.Champion a strong safety culture, adhering to all Johnson Controls and customer safety standards for employees and subcontractors.What We Look ForRequired QualificationsTechnical school education or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience3+ years of project management experience, preferably within HVAC or building systemsWorking knowledge of basic accounting and cost principlesHands-on experience with HVAC mechanical and/or control systemsStrong computer proficiency, especially within a Microsoft Office environmentExcellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiencesProven organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environmentStrong customer focus with a proactive, solution-oriented mindsetSelf-motivated professional who takes ownership and accountability for project deliverablesPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering-related field4+ years of field experience in the HVAC industryPMP certification or formal training in project accounting and cost controls​HIRING SALARY RANGE: $100K-$150K (Salary to be determined by theeducation, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of theapplicant, internal equity, location and alignment with marketdata.)
