Aspire has health centers in five Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.Position SummaryTheTherapist - Residential Addictions is responsible for the delivery of substance use disorder treatment, collaboration with recovery residence staff, and promoting a 'whole health' approach to services within an all male recovery house/center. This position will facilitate addictions and co-occurring diagnosis groups, inter-disciplinary practice integrating primary care and addressing social determinants of health, individual/family therapy, evaluations/assessments, treatment plans that may include medication assisted therapy, and crisis intervention/emergency services.Education/Experience/RequirementsMaster's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other mental health fieldfrom a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education requiredTwo (2) years' experience in a clinical setting working with a variety of populationsCommunity Mental Health experience highly preferredExperience working with priority populations (substance use disorder, MAT and/or co-occurring disorders)Ability to work and effectively deal with multiple types of personalities in a variety of situationsMust have excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skillsBrief, targeted behavioral intervention and substance use evaluation experience preferredKnowledge of social service systems, community resources, legal systems and child welfare systems highly preferredLicensureMust possess a temporary license to practice in the State of Indiana or;Recognized as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC) by the State of Indiana or;Recognized as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW/LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHCA/LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFTA/LMFT) by the State of IndianaLearn more about us at Aspireindiana.org, and see our Core Values, benefits and current job listings on our Careers page.
