Job Title: Melter Responsibilities + Load cocoa powder into melter machines according to production requirements. + Lift and handle bags up to 50 lbs frequently. + Use computer interface to monitor machine weights, temperatures, and performance. + Document production data on paper or in the computer system. + Perform basic troubleshooting on equipment when issues arise. + Conduct quality checks before, during, and after machine runs. + Work in warm environments (up to 120u00b0F during peak summer). + Assist with general production and warehouse duties as needed. + Maintain a clean and safe work area following food safety and quality guidelines. Essential Skills + Experience in production or manufacturing environments. + Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly. + Basic computer skills for data entry and machine monitoring. + Comfortable working in high-heat environments. + Mechanical aptitude for basic troubleshooting. + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. + Reliable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a team. + Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).
