Wiring Technician

Benicia - $23-$25 DOE The Wiring Technician supports the assembly of mechanical and electrical components and assists in wiring control panels according to schematics and production schedules. This role provides foundational training and opportunities for advancement into more specialized technical positions. Key Responsibilities Use basic hand and power tools (screwdrivers, wire cutters, drills, etc.) Mount electrical components inside control panels Wire components following electrical schematics Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow production schedules and safety guidelines Required Qualifications Comfortable using basic hand tools Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work Basic math and computer skills Ability to lift 40u201350 lbs. Preferred Qualifications Interest in understanding how mechanical or electrical systems work Motivation to learn new skills and grow within the company Coursework in electrical, electronics, industrial technology, automation, or related fields Ability to read simple electrical diagrams (helpful but not required) Great Opportunity for Students Ideal for individuals enrolled in technical programs such as: Electrical & Electronics Technology Industrial Technology Automation or Mechatronics Local programs may include community college or vocational training in related fields.
