As a SDE at Amazon, you will drive the technical direction of the team, working with many different technologies. You will design and code, troubleshoot and support. If so, we are looking for you.Basic Qualifications- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - 1+ years of contributing to new and current systems architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience - Experience debugging, profiling, and implementing best software engineering practices in large-scale systems - Experience leading engineering teams as a mentor or tech leadPreferred Qualifications- Master's degree in computer science or equivalent - Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence - Proven experience with AI-native development practices, including leveraging AI coding assistants, agentic workflows, and AI-powered tools to accelerate software delivery and code quality. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
