They provide complete design, engineering, fabrication, installation, and preventative maintenance service solutions for all their customeru2019s industrial refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, controls, metal fabricating, and service needs. Our client is headquartered in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, with additional locations in Madison, WI, Milwaukee, WI, and Wausau, WI and Rochester, MN. Today, our client performs maintenance services regionally, offers construction services nationally, and provides customized fabrications to customers worldwide. + Compensation Plan: Depending on qualifications/experience, this opportunity can offer up to a base salary of $170,000 plus yearly bonus and profit sharing. + Full Benefits Package (including but not limited to): Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) match, etc. JOB DESCRIPTION Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of mechanical contracting projects to ensure that goals and objectives of projects are accomplished within the designated time frame and project budgets. Responsibilities: + Review project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources in various phases of project completion. + Establish work plans and staffing for individual phases of each project, and arrange for assignments of project personnel. + Responsible for the scheduling and/or purchase of major equipment. + Prepare and review status reports by project personnel for budget analysis and modify schedule or plan as required; prepare project reports for management, clients or others as needed. + Coordinate subcontractors, shop fabrication, and manpower requirements. + Responsible for project documentation, contract administration, and preparation and coordination of change orders. + Takes hand in Cash Flow Management through coordination of billings as necessary in conjunction with accounting, following up with customers on past due accounts, and gross profit maintenance. + Confer with project staff to outline work plan & assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority. + Direct and coordinate activities of project to ensure project progress is on schedule and within budget. + Consult with project personnel, in-house engineers, and estimators to provide technical advice to resolve problems. + Back up to the field and shop personnel answering all mechanical and operational questions. + Maintain project budget. + Handle and prepare all documentation for project including O & M manuals, delivery schedules, labor tracking, project close out documentation etc. u2002u2002 + Answer to multiple customers assigned. + Develop and process estimates for key accounts. + Deliver proposals to key customers assigned. + Maintain customer relationships. + Overall responsibility for: + Scheduling and/or purchase of tools and equipment. + Setting up and/or attending job meetings. + Expediting equipment and monitor job progress. + Coordinating manpower requirements. + Coordinating shop fabrication, if necessary. + Contract administration. + Project documentation. + Preparation and coordination of change orders. + Equipment start-up. + Project completion. + Punch list. + Manuals + Miscellaneous + Warranty back charges to manufacturer(s). + Follow all ISO procedures as stated in the Standard Operating Procedures. + Support and maintain a safe and lean work environment. + Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Direct reports: + Will provide direction to the field personnel assigned to projects being handled by this person in addition to coaching & training. Qualifications: + Experience as a Project Manager or in a related position in the industrial mechanical contracting or large-scale construction industries. + Familiar with and capable of reading & interpreting construction drawings and specifications. + Familiar with construction project management documents such as RFIs and change orders as well as how they are used. + General knowledge of the construction industry. + Estimating and direct field experience is desirable but not required. + Ability to understand, analyze, and troubleshoot collection systems and have experience with current fabrication techniques. + Very strong pre-planning and organizational skills. + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Ability to understand, analyze and troubleshoot mechanical systems. + Physical ability to access job sites, including some climbing. + Strong communication skills, verbal & written (ability to write letters, proposals, etc.). + Excellent customer relations skills. + Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel. + Ability to travel to customer sites on an as-needed basis u2013 mainly local travel.ManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
