Description Robert Half is looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate has internal drive and strong potential for professional growth and development. You will manage financial modeling on a range of products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance, prepare reports for management and advise on the allocation of resources to best complete objectives. Located in the St. Paul, Minnesota area (fully on-site position), this Financial Analyst role is a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: - Maintain weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment level Bookings and P& L forecasting - Monitor monthly and quarterly performance by comparison of actuals versus expectations and enable business partners to handle their resources effectively - Drive monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required - Power the strategy and business planning process - Oversee the monthly and quarterly financial close process by working with Accounting - Become proficient in and apply econometric and statistical methods to forecasting - Uncover the influencing factors that are driving performance and trends - Assess potential risks and opportunities and research performance Please note that all candidates are required to provide 2 recent supervisor or manager references in order to be considered for employment. Requirements - Bacheloru2019s degree required (finance, economics, or similar) - 2-5 years of experience in a highly quantitative role (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role) - Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions - Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations - Expertise in month end closings - Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel - Familiarity with Hyperion reporting products required Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
