Forklift Operator We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators to support a large, safety-focused warehouse operation. This role is ideal for candidates with forklift and warehouse experience who are comfortable moving high-volume product in a fast-paced distribution environment. Key Responsibilities + Operate a sit-down, propane-powered forklift + Pick and scan product using RF scan guns + Load and unload trailers and move product throughout the warehouse + Place product in designated storage and staging locations + Assist with palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and order preparation + Support inbound and outbound shipping operations + Follow all safety procedures and warehouse instructions + Maintain a clean, organized work area + Perform forklift operation as the primary responsibility, with support of other warehouse tasks as needed Qualifications + Previous forklift experience required + Ability to understand and follow instructions in English + Experience in warehouse, shipping, or material handling environments + Comfortable working overnight in a fast-paced operation + Reliable attendance and strong safety awareness Preferred Qualifications + Experience using RF scanners + Shipping and receiving experience + Ability to communicate in Spanish or French (helpful but not required) Work Environment + Clean, safety-oriented warehouse setting + Non-climate-controlled but well-ventilated facility + Cooling measures provided, including fans, hydration, and cooling items + Shorts and short-sleeve shirts permitted + No hoodies or drawstrings allowed + Personal protective equipment provided, including hearing protection, eye protection, and safety vests + Family-oriented and diverse workplace Why Youu2019ll Enjoy Working Here + Clean and organized facility + Opportunities to grow into other warehouse roles + Training and skill development available + Competitive benefits when eligible + Strong employee tenure with experienced team members + Stable operation with consistent work Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Branch, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
