Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Pay: $23u2013$27/hour Schedule: Mondayu2013Friday 7:00 AM u2013 4:00 PM Location: On-site Climate-Controlled Manufacturing Facilities Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to support the efficient operation, safety, and upkeep of our facility. This role is responsible for performing routine equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs while following established safety standards and procedures. Key Responsibilities + Conduct regular equipment and system inspections, documenting findings and performance. + Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems . + Service and maintain loading docks, commercial doors, locks, and hardware . + Complete preventative maintenance tasks such as filter changes, oil changes, lubrication , and general servicing. + Assist with building upkeep including patching, painting, lighting repairs , and general facility maintenance. + Document work orders and observations in the CMMS system and recommend maintenance plan updates. + Participate in required safety training and comply with lifeu2011critical work procedures at all times. Essential Skills + Ability to safely use hand tools and small/large power tools . + Experience disassembling and reassembling fixtures, fans, pumps, and HVAC equipment . + General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work. + Understanding of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life safety systems, and building envelope . + Competency operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts . + Comfortable using a computer, cell phone, and electronic tablet for documentation and communication. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or some college preferred). + 4 years of experience and/or training in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or manufacturing maintenance, or a combination of education and experience. + Valid driveru2019s license. + Fork truck operatoru2019s license. + JLG operatoru2019s license required .
