PARALEGAL CRIMINAL BUREAU WHITE COLLAR & PUBLIC INTEGRITY DIVISION (Boston Office) Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell is looking for a highly motivated Paralegal to support the work of the White Collar & Public Integrity Division (WCPID). The White Collar & Public Integrity Division is charged with investigating and prosecuting financial crimes (including fiduciary embezzlement by professionals, complex financial frauds, and tax fraud schemes) and public corruption matters (including a broad array of schemes involving public officials, public institutions, and public funds). _Primary Duties_:The Paralegal will provide day-to-day paralegal and administrative support to the employees of the WCPID. These duties will include the following responsibilities: u00b7 Drafting administrative, grand jury, and trial subpoenas, as well as witness summonses, preservation orders, and other correspondence, at the direction of prosecutors. u00b7 Assisting with fact gathering using databases, open-source information, and other investigative techniques. u00b7 Reviewing records, organizing large amounts of diverse information, and creating chronologies, summary charts, and spreadsheets to further investigations and summarize findings. u00b7 Analyzing digital evidence in furtherance of investigations and prosecutions. u00b7 Assisting in preparation of exhibits, slide decks, and summary charts for grand jury presentations, court hearings, and trials. u00b7 Supporting litigation matters by drafting court pleadings and assembling, reviewing, and producing discovery, including notices of discovery. u00b7 Maintaining and updating a case management system to track referrals, investigations, and prosecutions for the WCPID. u00b7 Organizing and maintaining physical and electronic case files. u00b7 Investigating and replying to citizen complaints of criminal wrongdoing. u00b7 Communicating with attorneys and witnesses, as well as court clerks' offices and members of the public. u00b7 Managing calendars, including the scheduling of case-related meetings and deadlines. u00b7 Researching policy and legal matters pertinent to the WCPIDu2019s work and initiatives. u00b7 Assisting in the coordination of trainings and assembly of training materials. u00b7 Assisting in the preparation of annual reports reflecting WCPID case outcomes. u00b7 Performing additional duties, as necessary, to effectuate the above responsibilities. The Paralegal will work closely with prosecutors, victim witness advocates, investigators, and administrative support personnel within the Criminal Bureau, as well as with federal, state, and law enforcement partners. _Position Type_: Full-Time/Non-Exempt _Location_: The Paralegal hired for this position will work out of the AGOu2019s Boston Office. Our hybrid model may include some telework days for the successful applicant.
