The Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association (OEFFA) Certification is seeking an administrative professional to head our administration team.About Us: Founded in 1979, Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association (OEFFA) is a membership-based grassroots organization, dedicated to promoting and supporting sustainable, ecological, healthy, and accessible food systems. OEFFA Certification has been in operation since 1981, providing organic certification services to farmers and food processors in 12 states across the Midwest. Our clients include grain growers, dairy farmers, mixed vegetable growers, coffee roasters, meat processors, and everything in between.# Position Summary: The Administrative Coordinator provides oversight and leadership to a small team of administrative staff that provide integral functions to OEFFA's Certification program and clients. The position oversees administrative staff, leads administrative projects and provides general administrative support. The Administrative Coordinator may participate in events, educational programming, and other special projects as opportunities arise and workload permits.u00a0u00a0Major Duties and Responsibilities:- Ensure fluid information transfer into, through, and out of the certification program via appropriate channels- Receive and process certification fees and incoming applications for organic certification, including data entry- Handle large volumes of correspondence including via phone, postal mail, email and fax in a consistent and professional manner- Track application status, payments, and communications with operations regarding compliance with OEFFA policies and the USDA National Organic Program- Monitor and track administrative workload and status of projects- Work with the Certification Manager and other staff to ensure adequate administrative coverageu00a0- Supervise administrative staff- Oversee and provide guidance on special administrative projects- Assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures and ensure internal complianceu00a0- Manage potential client lists and send applications at appropriate times- Provide excellent customer service to the sustainable farming community- Assist with general office duties and additional projects# Qualifications and Experience:Able to delegate work effectively and communicate goals to other staffu00a0An independent worker with problem-solving skills and effective at
