Payments Operations Manager needed in Miami FL This role is 4 days on site and 1 day remote Job Description We are seeking a Payments Specialist to serve as a subject matter expert in merchant payment acceptance. This role involves managing day-to-day payment issues, leading ad hoc projects, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities + Act as a subject matter expert for merchant payment acceptance, handling day-to-day payment issues and escalations. + Investigate and resolve complex payment-related issues across gateways, processors, and internal platforms. + Lead and support projects focused on enhancing payment flows and ensuring regulatory compliance. + Perform deep-dive data analysis to identify root causes, trends, and optimization opportunities. + Write and execute SQL queries to analyze and validate data across payment platforms. + Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting using Power BI, translating data into actionable insights. + Collaborate with operations, product, technology, compliance, and external vendors in the payments ecosystem. + Provide clear analysis and recommendations, including roadmaps for process improvements and system enhancements. + Conduct detailed reviews of payment data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and transparency. Essential Skills + 7+ years of experience in payments, money movement, or merchant payment acceptance. + Strong hands-on experience with payment gateways and processing workflows. + Advanced SQL skills with experience in analyzing large data sets. + Experience building and interpreting reports and dashboards using Power BI. + Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Work Environment This position requires working in the office four days a week, with Fridays as a remote workday. The environment involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and engaging in decision-making processes within a large company. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Miami, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
