Responsibilities Dentons US LLP is currently recruiting for a Transactional Analyst to be based in Chicago, New York or Phoenix. Transactional analysts gain significant exposure to law and business through hands-on, practical experience by working closely with lawyers and paraprofessionals on client matters. This position will support the Hospitality & Leisure practice group and will report to the Practice Chair for the group, with daily work performed primarily under the direction of assigned practice group lawyers and/or paraprofessionals. Expected responsibilities will include: + Assist with preparation of basic transactional documents. + Facilitate coordination of entity and property due diligence. + Establish and maintain electronic client files utilizing firm document management system. + Prepare closing indexes and binders and ensure post-closing obligations are met. + Review and analyze various legal agreements and contracts, including preparation of abstracts upon request. + Perform research on factual issues and assist in preparation of legal analysis. + Monitor and report on key industry developments. + Other duties as assigned. Pursuant with state laws, the salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 based on experience. Position qualifications + Bachelor's Degree with strong academic credentials. + Ability to work in a professional team environment and interact with business services professionals and clients at all levels in a fast-paced legal environment. + Proactive work ethic with the ability to anticipate the needs of the assignment and respond accordingly is a must. + Professional self-starter who can provide superior client service with strong attention to detail. + Excellent critical thinking, organizational, decision-making, writing and research skills are essential. + Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PDF creation tool(s) is required. + Two-year commitment is highly desired. Interest in pursuing a career in law is encouraged. + Availability to work overtime to support business needs when necessary.
