This job was posted by : For moreinformation, please see:Construction Program - Construction Lab InstructorrrFull Time or Part Time:rAnticipated Start Date:rrJob Description SummaryrLincoln Land Community College is seeking a qualified, part-time,non-benefited Construction Lab Instructor to provide constructioninstruction geared toward students in Highway Construction Program.Journeyman status with at least five years experience is preferred butnot structors will be responsible for the following:- Prepare lesson plans, lecture and relevant issues such as safety, industry requirements and history of the industry.- Deliver instruction on the safe use of hand and power tools as outlined in OSHA safety standards.- Oversee projects and provide instruction on specific construction skills which may include but not limited to: site preparation, cement work, carpentry, simple welding and electrical, and blueprint reading.- Record daily attendance.- Provide student feedback.Pay will be $44.00/hr.The Paid Leave for All Workers Act allows part-time employees to earn 1hour of PTO for every 40 hours worked.
