As a Control Systems Senior Engineer, youu2019ll play a pivotal role in developing and refining the electronic systems that power our machinesu2014ensuring they deliver the right features and performance for every challenge. Additional Information: + Location: Mossville, IL (United States) + Required Travel: Up to 20% (Domestic) + Relocation Assistance Offered: Domestic + US Work Sponsorship Offered: Yes What You Will Do: + Design advanced electrical control systems and integrating electrical and mechanical systems. + Design and implement control logic and procedures to control and enhance electro-mechanical systems and mechatronic devices performance in collaboration with machine product teams. + Assess the feasibility of product and subsystem requirements and refine them into a clear, unambiguous, and verifiable set. + Translate the refined requirements into detailed specifications that guide the design, development, and implementation of the system. + Work with the verification team to ensure proper test plans are in place. + Analyze field data to diagnose control logic and field issues. What You Will Have (Basic Requirements): u2022 Education Requirement: Bacheloru2019s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science u2022 Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems. Level Extensive Experience: u2022 Communicating Complex Concepts: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding; ability to use summarization and simplification techniques to explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language appropriate to the audience. u2022 Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations. u2022 Technical Troubleshooting: Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application or operation. u2022 Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project. u2022 Product Testing: Knowledge of product testing approaches, techniques and tools; ability to design, plan and execute testing strategies and tactics to ensure product quality at all stages of manufacturing.
