About the role As a CBRE Electrician, you will inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical andelectrical equipment in assigned facilities. This role is part of theEngineering and Technical Services function, responsible for providing support,preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. What Youu2019ll Do u2022 Oversee the general operation, repair, and maintenance of electrical andlighting systems, including new equipment installations. u2022 Inspect, troubleshoot, and replace components such as valves, motors,controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers,cores, and pipes. u2022 Safely work with electrical systems up to 480 volts, following all applicablesafety protocols. u2022 Ensure all equipment is maintained and operating safely and efficiently. u2022 Review historical maintenance records to develop proactive inspection,testing, and preventive maintenance schedules. u2022 Deliver efficient and reliable service to internal and external customers. u2022 Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques to solveroutine problems. u2022 Demonstrate broad knowledge of your discipline and familiarity with relateddisciplines. u2022 Lead by example and model behaviors aligned with CBRE RISE values. u2022 Impact the quality of your work and that of others on the team. u2022 Work primarily within standardized procedures to meet objectives anddeadlines. u2022 Communicate complex information clearly in straightforward situations. What Youu2019ll Need u2022 Must hold a valid Electrician Journeyman's license as required by localelectrical codes. u2022 Must pass a fingerprint-based background check. u2022 Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visasponsorship now or in the future. u2022 High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4 years ofjob-related experience. Completion of a formal apprenticeship programpreferred. u2022 Valid Driveru2019s License required. u2022 Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including stooping,standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying loads of 50lbs. or more. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). u2022 Ability to analyze and solve slightly complex problems using technicalexperience and sound judgment. u2022 Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset. u2022 Advanced math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages,discounts, and commissions.
