Description: You will be the Information Systems Security Officer for the Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control Team, responsible for securing lifesaving products and critical state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing systems by applying cutting-edge cybersecurity principles. What You Will Be Doing As the ISSO, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day information system security operations, ensuring compliance with internal and customer security requirements, and maintaining the security and integrity of our systems. Your Responsibilities Will Include: u2022 Oversee day-to-day information system security operations u2022 Carry out technical administration of IS in accordance with internal LM and customer security requirements u2022 Monitor, analyze, and respond to network and security events u2022 Document compliance actions and address non-compliance in the allotted time frame u2022 Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with internal security policies and practices u2022 Participate in internal/external security audits/inspections and perform risk assessments u2022 Maintain records for workstations, software, servers, routers, firewalls, and other equipment throughout the information system's life cycle u2022 Evaluate proposed changes or additions to the information system and advise the ISSM of their security relevance u2022 Assist in conducting investigations of computer security violations and incidents Why Join Us We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Information Systems Security Officer who is passionate about securing critical systems and protecting sensitive information. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Current Secret clearance required u2022 DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification u2022 Information Systems auditing experience u2022 Advanced knowledge of Risk Management Framework Security Controls u2022 Knowledgeable of operating system security requirements u2022 Hands on experience with industry standard Information Assurance tools Desired Skills: u2022 Prior experience as an ISSO u2022 Demonstrated technical experience for Windows, Networking, and/or UNIX-based operating systems u2022 Experience in system hardening, analysis, and vulnerability management u2022 Experience with the implementation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) u2022 Experience with industry standard Information Assurance tools such as the STIG Viewer, SCC Tool, ESTIG, and Splunk u2022 EMASS package management/creation u2022 The ability to speak and present to stakeholders clearly and articulate technical information to a general audience Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
