Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer Location: Bellevue, WA Type: Contract Contractor Work Model: Remote u2013 offsite Hours: 40.0 Responsibilities + Design reactor structures and components from concept through final design. + Develop equipment and component design solutions based on engineering and project requirements. + Perform scoping calculations and engineering analyses to support design decisions. + Interface with engineering analysis teams and support integrated design efforts. + Lead and participate in design reviews, evaluating technical solutions. + Manage and coordinate supplier and subcontractor technical activities. + Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance. + Support continuous improvement and application of nuclear industry best practices. Requirements + Bacheloru2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. + 8+ years of equipment/component design experience (M.S. may count toward experience). + Working experience with ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code Section III. + Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA). + Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA), preferably using ANSYS. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
