About the RoleAbout Our Summer Internship Program At Gap Inc., our 10-week Summer Internship Program is built around how our business operates—fast-moving, customer-focused, and grounded in the work that brings our brands to life. As an intern, you’ll step into the pace and complexity of a global retail organization, contributing to initiatives that shape our product, our experience, and how we show up for millions of customers. You’ll be embedded on a team from day one, taking on meaningful work and building ownership as the summer progresses. Along the way, you’ll strengthen how you approach your work—using data to inform decisions, solving business problems, and communicating ideas with clarity—while building fluency in tools like AI that help teams work more effectively. As the summer progresses, you’ll be expected to move beyond execution—identifying a meaningful opportunity or challenge within your team, shaping your own point of view, and developing a clear, well-supported recommendation to present at the end of the program. By the end of the summer, you’ll have a deeper understanding of how the business runs, stronger judgment in how you approach your work, and a foundation of experience you can build on as you grow your career.
