The Program Associate supportsu00a0theu00a0Community Impact Departmentu2019su00a0relationships, strategy development,u00a0research,u00a0andu00a0communications functions. Theu00a0Program Associate worksu00a0closely with the People team,u00a0other Community Impact department teams, the Philanthropy and Gift Planning, Marketing and Communications,u00a0and Operations teams, and the Office of the CEO.u00a0 Boundariesu00a0 The Program Associate is on the People Pathwayu00a0team, which sits in the Community Impactu00a0Departmentu00a0and isu00a0tasked with developing core strategies foru00a0advancingu00a0SFFu2019s racial equity and economic inclusionu00a0goals.u00a0 Authorityu00a0 The Program Associate reports to theu00a0Senioru00a0Director ofu00a0theu00a0People Pathway. Under the direction of theu00a0Senioru00a0Director of People Pathway, the Program Associate will be tasked with both supporting andu00a0leadingu00a0team andu00a0SFF-wide activities, includingu00a0representingu00a0the People Pathway internally and inu00a0community.u00a0u00a0 Roleu00a0 ThePeople Pathway leads the Foundationu2019s efforts to expand economicu00a0prosperityu00a0for low-income BIPOC communities.u00a0 A successfulu00a0Program Associateu00a0candidate has a basic understanding of the systemic causes ofracial and economicinequity and has experience working to improve conditions for BIPOC people/communities.u00a0 The role of the Program Associate, is to support theu00a0Community Impact Department and theu00a0People Team in theu00a0developmentu00a0and implementationu00a0of strategic goals,u00a0supportu00a0for work with donor andu00a0grantee stakeholders, including through grantmaking,u00a0representing SFFu00a0in community,u00a0collaborating with colleagues across the Foundation,u00a0andu00a0otherwiseu00a0working tou00a0u00a0advanceu00a0SFFu2019s racial equity and economicu00a0inclusionu00a0north star.u00a0 Tasksu00a0 + Buildu00a0and sustainu00a0relationships with grantees, donors,u00a0and other key stakeholdersu00a0u00a0 + Support portfolio of grantees to complete grant applications andu00a0conversationalu00a0check-ins/grant reportsu00a0 + Assess grantees and prospective applicants for programmatic alignment and fitu00a0 + Support the developmentu00a0and managementu00a0of issue-based funds in collaboration with colleagues from across SFF, including co-developing and completing annual milestone(s)u00a0 + Serve as application lead and point of contact to assigned grantees, providing reliableu00a0 + and professional customer service to all stakeholders.u00a0 + Provide critical analysis and evaluation ofu00a0emerging issuesu00a0u00a0 + Coordinate/conduct/supportu00a0site visits, community meetings, and special conveningsu00a0 + Participateu00a0in SFF working groups, committees, andu00a0represent SFFu00a0at community eventsu00a0 Competencies & Qualificationsu00a0 Education:u00a0 + Bacheloru2019su00a0degreeu00a0is preferred;u00a0additionalu00a0work experience, educational degrees and certificates will be consideredu00a0 Experience:u00a0 + Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
